As part of our continuing improvement program, and based on feedback from our most recent membership survey, SISA is providing this section of our website specific for the management of the various fleets that sail within the club.  A fleet, as defined by SISA, is any group of like boats that wishes to participate in regattas under a general agreed-upon set of rules.  At regatta racing events, if there is a large enough turnout of fleet boats, the fleet can be individually ran and scored, awarding fleet points.  This is very helpful to those that take racing a little more serious then the general club member.

For each of our fleets, we will allow the fleet to provide a Fleet Captain.  It will be the Captain's role and responsibility to organize the fleet as the fleet wishes.  We have started with the known fleets and will add more as required.

We hope this helps bring more of the local sailboats out to the regattas and allows more sailors to be involved in IDAHO SAILING.
